Planar offers a lively visual experience to enjoy sports

A Led videowall of the TVF series, in configuration 12×6 and pixel pitch of 1,5 Mm; together 38 65" LCD Simplicity M series and six 55" screens form the project of planar for Sportsbook Bar & Grill, a popular Denver local (Us.) to watch sports and have a drink.

In the Denver metro area, Sportsbook Bar & Grill offers customers a space to watch sports, in addition to good cuisine. After having two sports betting locations in the city, its owners, Judson Dymond and Jeremy Malone, have now opened this location in Highlands Ranch, in which they have created a differential sports viewing experience.

After a complete refurbishment of the building, its managers hired the specialist Logic Integration, based in Colorado, to develop an audiovisual design that would provide an environment similar to its other locations, but on a much larger scale.

"We wanted it to have a wow factor," Dymond says.. The idea was for people to come in and say: Wow, you can't find this anywhere else., and no matter where they are in our, that they can watch the sport they want".

To do this, Logic Integration worked closely with the owners to design a solution that would provide easier AV control and optimal visibility from anywhere in the property space..

Although in the original approach of the owners did not include installing a videowall, this idea changed when visiting with Logic Integration the exhibition room of the visual technology of the manufacturer planar in Denver.

So says Dymond: "this visit helped us confirm what we wanted. We saw Led video walls in action and really understood the difference between various types of pixels.".

The final design and integration for Sportsbook Bar & Grill features a wide range of Display Technologies from Planar, including a Led videowall of your TVF Series, from 7×2 metre, with pixel pitch of 1,5 Mm. (TVF1.5), in configuration 12×6, located in the main table area of the premises.

Distributed by the establishment and some located above the bar have been installed 38 Planar Simplicity M Series LCD screens, in a size of 65", along with six others of the same model in 55" format.

This deployment of visual systems in the new Highlands Ranch Sportsbook offers an ideal viewing environment for any sports lover. "When you walk in the front door, the videowall catches your attention immediately -underlines Ralph Magallon, responsible at Logic Integration-. It really plays with the wow factor that its owners were looking for.".

According to Magallon, the Planar Simplicity M series adapts to the customer's requirements of having a large format screen, with high resolution and sharp image, while ensuring that the budget was maintained at a reasonable level.

In addition, Logic Integration has integrated a control system of Crestron for the selection of sources of LCD screens, as well as a touch panel for fourteen presets in the Led videowall.
