Audac updates Touch, your tool to control audio installations
The version 2.7 of Audac Touch includes new features to facilitate the control of audio installations from a single application, as the list of devices, that helps to manage the different teams.
The Belgian manufacturer Audac has released a new update to its control software Touch, a tool that allows you to manage an audio installation from a single application. In the version 2.7 new features such as device list have been included.
The list of devices is an important point in Audac Touch that is used to display those that are in the installation. However, with intensive users, the list can get long. This is why in this version it has been divided into a summary of devices and a discovery page.
When you go to the discovery page Audac Touch automatically starts searching for devices on the network. But instead of instantly remembering each device in the app it just gives an overview of all of them.. Then it is possible to decide which one to add and which one not to add..
On the saves page, shows a handy summary of all the devices that have been added to the account. To make device discovery mode even easier, Audac has also introduced a search bar at the top of this page..
Audac has also grouped the linked devices within the direct device, so that the list is cleaner and more organized.
a direct device is one that is controlled using the device's own ip address. While a linked one is one that is controlled using the IP of another.
Another handy new feature is the device probe. polling is used when you want to physically change a device, For example, when it is to be replaced by a new one. The probe will search for all devices with the same type so that you can update the Audac Touch database without having to change everything manually.
The platforms supported by this Audac application, brand that distributes SeeSound, are Linux, ios, Android and Windows.
