Stufish creates a large kaleidoscope with Led panels that you can walk through
With dimensions of 40 meters long, 6 high and 3 width, Stufish Entertainment Architects has created a huge kaleidoscope that visitors can explore on foot, designed with seamless mirrors and Led panels.
The English specialist Stufish Entertainment Architects has once again surprised with new ways to inspire audiences during the recent technology conference Leap 2022, held in Saudi Arabia, creating an immersive environment in a huge kaleidoscope tunnel that visitors could walk through, surrounded by stunning Led images
Inspired by technology, this unique Stufish installation has welcomed visitors during the three days of the Leap conference 2022, in Riyadh Front Expo Centre from Saudi Arabia, with a unique immersive experience.
With dimensions of 40 meters long, 6 high and 3 width, this huge kaleidoscope that visitors can tour, considered therefore the largest so far of its kind, has been designed with seamless mirrors and without deformations "to achieve an environment in constant expansion".
Inside cylindrical and with high resolution Led images, visitors were involved in a tour that represented the natural stratification of Saudi Arabia; a journey with natural scenes of the environment that went from the bottom of the sea to the sky and the stars over the Arabian Peninsula, combined with geometric designs, thanks to the big guys Led panels located on the ground.
In front of other great kaleidoscospios of the world, one in New York and one in the Japanese city of Aichi, the differential with stufish's design is that it is not vertically oriented, but so that people can walk on it.
To achieve this, and according to Stufish's statement, the main challenge was to design a mirror of 40 meters long, no seams or deformations, thanks to the use of a panoramic mirror sheet system of Showtex.
To this was added the design, with entry and exit for the public, that did not interrupt the uniform content reflected in the kaleidoscope (also created by Stufish), thanks to the creation of two triangular inlet and outlet openings at each end, to create the immersive experience.
As he explains Maciej Woroniecki, partner of Stufish Entertainment Architects, "Our kaleidoscope aims to represent how a simple design, when supported with a material that can be scaled as intended, can deliver an experience that is much bigger than what was built and anticipated. We believe this is the epitome of efficiency and sustainability in architecture.".
The company has also participated with an innovative creation in the recent opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics, in China.
