Danone encourages internal communication with digital signage
The digital signage software of embed signage has allowed Danone to respond to its communication strategy with employees at the headquarters of United Kingdom E Ireland.
Since it began to implement the solution of embed signage at its headquarters in Reinio Unido, in Trowbridge, Danone has continued to extend its infrastructure of digital signage to other areas of the country and Ireland.
Various digital signage options were tested, but many were overpriced or offered rigid and paid customer service. Embed signage was chosen as it offered a large selection of features, hardware support and optimal customer service and support. Functions that were ideal to respond to your communication strategy and digital engagement with employees.
“The interface of embed signage is, by far, the best we've ever tried. Eliminates the complexity of digital signage with a variety of features and hardware options, and the support team is very responsive”, Says Luke O'Connell, Danone's Chief Data and Technology Officer.
Danone is using integrated signage to deliver internal communication to its staff through digital signage located in office buildings and factory facilities., including offices, the bar and cafeteria, reception, the corridors, common and production areas.
“It has been very easy to learn and manage ourselves. We've been able to run screens on a variety of hardware and bring real-time information to our dispersed staff across different geographic locations.”, adds Luke O'Connell.
Thanks to the implementation of integrated signage, the company is able to provide critical information to employees at high speed and communications with them have brought them closer to the company and made them feel more involved in the company's progress.
“HR teams can send messages to all centers instantly and accurately, share specific information with very specific teams, in a very simple way. Keeping information fresh and relevant to the right people at the right time has been a very positive experience for everyone involved.”, Says Stuart Grace, Danone Digital Innovation Engineer.
The digital signage solution that has been implemented has streamlined communication and has brought operational benefits in all areas. As Stuart Grace explains, “integrated signage has been estimated to have provided a minimum of two hours per week of operational efficiency and further savings are expected to occur. Remote management of screens, content scheduling and playback features have changed the way we operate and communicate critical information to our staff”.
Danone continues to bet on integrated signage in other geographical areas and has made several demonstrations to other teams of the company in other countries.
