Ipswich Prolights Civic Centre

A dozen EclCyclorama lighting projectors 100 of Prolights have been installed in the Ipswich Civic Centre (Australia), to support their cultural theatre programmes, music and special events.

the Ipswich Civic Centre is a cultural reference in Australia that combines entertainment, and services for the local community. To improve your theatre programme, live music, special events and performances, its managers have improved the lighting system.

The technology of the Italian manufacturer Prolights has been chosen for this, with the installation of twelve EclCyclorama 100, a soft edge linear projector and cyclorama, designed for use both front and end of the stage.

Ipswich Prolights Civic CentreAs he explains Ben Harth, theatre technician at Ipswich Civic Centre, "We tried a couple of different accessories, but EclCyclorama 100 gave us the result we were looking for. We wanted a uniform and striking color that could be complemented by our existing Prolights equipment, and it is what it offers us with its source RGB+WW".

The EclCyclorama optical system 100 is designed to offer a asymmetrical beam angle very spacious, offering more flexibility in applications where luminaires are connected or separated by a considerable distance, without worrying about dark edges.

"We have used these devices for a musical as a first-rate accessory," Harth said.. We run them at 5%, which was enough for a theatrical candle, and that has given us the opportunity to explore more theatrical possibilities, as its attenuation is impressive".

EclCyclorama 100 offers a multitude of possibilities of DMX control, RDM, Art-Net and Wireless DMX; a linear soft illumination of 330 W and flood with high-quality RGB Led and warm white color mix across the spectrum, with high CRI performance, TLCI and TM30
