Toronto's Union Station enters the digital age with Samsung screens
Innovative digital displays Samsung IER improve transit zones at this Toronto landmark and provide easy navigation tools for travelers.
the Union Station de Toronto has gone through a number of improvements and expansions over decades. In addition to new platforms, metro connections and a renovated food court, required significant technological improvements. In partnership with Samsung Canada E Icon Media, Osmington (Union Station) has installed eye-catching new displays to entertain and inform.

Toronto's Union Station serves millions of passengers a year, is one of the busiest transit hubs in Canada. It is a site designated as heritage and built more than a hundred years ago.

Union Station also partnered with Icon Media, an American company that focuses its activity on visual communications. "It is one of our partners that has become one of Canada's digital milestones and is always evolving", Clarifies Steed Ferns, President of Icon Media.
IER Led Screens
Wrapped around the elevator on the station's Bay Street Promenade, the Led screens of the IER Series Samsung animate the space, showing sporting events, advertising and, perhaps most importantly, emerging local arts organizations.
Displays provide high image quality and optimal brightness levels, with improved contrast. This makes it possible to highlight the content of Toronto's local talents, while giving advertisers great visibility.
Available in customizable sizes, Samsung IER series Led screens can be mounted in portrait and landscape orientation, they also support curved and L-shaped installations to help partners implement innovative experiences that meet brand goals.

Videowall UDE-A
In addition to serving travelers, Union Station offers free public events throughout the year, showcasing the best of Toronto for tourists and locals alike.
To help with this, the station has installed videowall screens of the series UDE-A from Samsung, that captivate audiences with a narrow frame and create a virtually uninterrupted viewing experience.
These equipment have factory adjustment, innovative hardware and optimal calibration tools, that adjusts to the highest performance uniform brightness and color on each screen.

last, the Led screens of the IF-D series Samsung guide users, providing colorful and captivating signage that displays content with maximum brightness levels, almost twice as much as standard Led signage. Screens also maintain a constant gradation in content, with in-depth color management that eliminates reddish tones and ensures that all featured content appears with real realism.
