Arthur Holm monitors adapt to the luxurious design of the Qatar Court

At the International Court and Dispute Resolution Center of Qatar, an AV solution integrated by DynamicX2 retractable monitors has been implemented., What Arthur Holm has customized with a gold plating, and DynamicX2Talk.

The International Tribunal and Dispute Resolution Centre of Qatar (QICDRC ) is a body charged with facilitating and resolving civil and commercial disputes in a fair and efficient manner in accordance with internationally recognised best practices and with a strong commitment to the rule of law.

In line with international dispute resolution standards, QICDRC is a modern and specialized Civil and Commercial Court that presents cases before world-renowned independent judges.

Known for fast resolution, economic and impartial trade disputes, is led by the President of the Court, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, and supported by the judges of the court and the regulatory court. Come from a variety of jurisdictions, including Qatar, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Kuwait, Hong Kong, South Africa and the United States.

The integrator TechnoQ has been in charge of designing and implementing an audiovisual solution that responds to both functional and aesthetic needs.

An environment of this type required the best audiovisual technology to facilitate optimal decision-making and, In addition, demanded quality finishes, with a golden appearance, in line with the logo of the institution and the design of the interior design, in which the golden details stood out in contrast to the maroon and light tone of the wood.

The institution decided on retractable monitors DynamicX2 customized with a gold plating and with double DynamicTalk: mechanism to raise and retract gooseneck microphones which in turn was customized including a conference system Shure.

The project integrated the installation of several monitors with double DynamicTalk (so that a monitor is shared by two people) and judges' monitors, that have a single microphone.

The desktop cover has buttons for raising and retracting monitors and microphones independently, as well as pushbuttons for request to speak and silenced. Retractable monitors have a touch screen, to facilitate user interaction.

Monitors DynamicX2Talk are equipped with a system protected by an international patent consisting of an automatic lifting and tilting mechanism of the screen that uses a single motor. This lifting system has different speed levels, depending on the position of the screen, obtaining as a result a harmonic movement without sudden variations.

To this innovative solution was added a stand-alone lift system for the microphone, with a rounded lid with an LED ring that changes from red to green to indicate audio activation.

As a result, the user can decide between using the touch monitor, the microphone or hide all the elements inside the table when they are not necessary. This gives the table flexibility and space optimization. And to fit with the styling of the room, all teams underwent a gold-plating process.

The gold used for DynamicX2Talk is 24 carats and is transformed for use only in electrolytic baths.
