Ise 2022 advances the novelties of its meeting with the industry in Barcelona

With six weeks to go until Ise 2022 open your doors in Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, the event has about eight hundred exhibitors, distributed in six Technological Zones; will offer seven conferences, training programs of associations and salons to know the solutions, AV and System Integration Industry Products and Trends.

This year, visitors who come to Ise 2022, of the 10 to the 13 May in Barcelona, they will find it especially easy to navigate the enclosure thanks to the Technological Zones dedicated that bring together exhibitors. The pavilions 3 and 5 host the main exhibitors of the event and the multi-technology area.

Conference programme

With an extensive program that covers a whole series of current issues in multiple sectors, the first will be the Conference on Smart Buildings, that will take place on 9 May, one day before ISE 2022 open your doors.

Focused on smart building technologies, safe and sustainable, the SBC will host speakers such as Erik Ubels, owner of Metisreal; Kathy Farrington, Global Director of the Digital Buildings Program (Bos) and director of Google's IoT team, and Matthew Marson, director of the British manufacturing and technology sector at Arcadis.

the Control Room Summit will inaugurate the content program on 10 May. This event, half-day duration, explore how these critical facilities are changing and how the community should work together to deliver new models. It will be followed by the first independent summit on smart workplaces and their transformation.

the Digital Signage Summit will return on 11 of May with a program of current issues, such as ecological signage, the consolidation of the sector, best practices and the latest technological trends.

Success stories of universities developing creative solutions to deliver hybrid learning at scale will also be discussed..

The first Superyacht Technology Summit, that will take place on 12 May morning, host technology speakers and opinion leaders from around the world to discuss the integration process, as well as practical demonstrations, workshops and technical talks.

In the Live Events Summit, professional audio experts, leading manufacturers and industry professionals will share their knowledge on topics such as immersive audio, remote mixing and networking.

Activities of the Avixa and Cedia associations

In addition to these conferences and as usual, the associations and co-owners of the fair, Avixa and Cedia, will also organize extensive educational programs and special events, taught by subject matter experts from all over the world.

Cedia offers the opportunity to perform training courses in Spanish, along with a wide range of opportunities to learn new skills. Sessions will begin on 10 may morning with an update of the technologies of the future by Rich Green.

Other topics to be discussed are design documentation, energy and energy storage, WiFi6 and WiFi 6E and video technologies. Cedia will also host a series of sessions more focused on the business, as twenty ways to increase profits; the project manager's guide to financial issues and how to build your business with training.

Avixa will start its training proposal at ISE on 9 May, with a regional meeting for the French audiovisual community. Similar events will be organized throughout the fair for Italian and German attendees.

the 11 May, the Avixa Women's Council organize a panel of shared experiences in the projection dome of the pavilion 5, discussing practical ways to inspire and empower women in the audiovisual sector and analysing what companies are doing to address gender imbalance and promote workplace initiatives.

The following day there will be two round tables organized by the Diversity Council by Avixa, which will take place on the stage of the pavilion 5. The first will be Designing for equity, inclusion, accessibility, which will deal with equity in leadership and the construction of a culture of inclusion, the benefits of diversity and how technology helps diversity efforts.

Next we will talk about Intersectionality and AV/IT/AI and how to create safe spaces and build communities, while establishing pathways and opportunities for individual and organizational growth.

Avixa also organizes the AV Experience Zone, in the pavilion 5, with content in Spanish to show the most advanced AV solutions and trends in the sector. There will be different sessions aimed at vertical market audiences, professional technicians and students.

Also student-centered, the Audiovisual Career Day returns to ISE on 11 May. Organized by Avixa, Cedia and ISE, this year's event will bring together participants in the pavilion's projection dome 5 to enjoy panel sessions and presentations before taking guided tours of the exhibition hall.

Experiences of the fair

ISE Sound Xperience it will also impress visitors every day of the fair, as it will take place in the event complex Filmax Cinema Gran Via, a few hundred meters from the pavilion 5. The cinema will host a series of audio spaces with a unique configuration that will allow the main brands, as Martin Audio, L-Acoustics and Adamson, present a realistic representation of its latest technologies.

Equipped with the latest surround sound processors for Dolby digital cinema and high-end Barco projectors, rooms vary in size: from large-scale spaces to more reserved places.

For those interested in the world of audio and live events, Live Events Arena, in the pavilion 7, has been created especially to increase the experience of visitors. In addition to the latest solutions for the sector, stage to host product demonstrations, fifteen minutes long, along with a space dedicated to networking.

Visitors who wish to discover new technologies and find opportunities for collaboration should contact the Discovery Zone of the Plaza del Congreso. In the pavilion 6 of ISE 2022 Debut Retail Experience/Digital Signage Avenue, a multi-application space that will gather and present a selection of the world's leading digital signage and DooH technologies. Salons and initiatives

The entire fairground will have different rooms. In the pavilion 2, ISE will host a room dedicated to the influencers social media, who will interact with exhibitors and create and publish content related to the event. Facilities will include a podcast studio, a photo booth, meeting areas and a live Twitter wall.

Also as a novelty this year, Women in live music (WILM) will host a hall in the pavilion 7, as part of an initiative supported by ISE to encourage more women to visit the fair and join the audiovisual industry, with representatives of Women in Lighting.

International events

ISE attendees will also be able to meet IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the largest international event dedicated to the transformation of the industry through disruptive technologies, to be held from the 10 to the 12 May at Fira de Barcelona, with the motto Game-changing technologies for industry transformation.

Visitors will be able to access the IOTSWC exhibition area at no additional cost, while those registered in any of the ISE conferences will benefit from a discount of the 50% in the congress program and vice versa.

ISE Open Innovation Challenge, organized by He agreed (Agency for the Competitiveness of the Company), and Enterprise Europe Network will take place in the pavilion of Catalonia throughout the fair, with eight companies looking for new technologies and enterprise solutions partners.

The event presents challenges in seven categories: live events; dissemination and creation of content; residential and smart buildings; hotels and hospitality; digital signage and digital media outside the home; unified communications and educational technology, and audio.

Technology providers with the potential to help solve these challenges can sign up to participate in the event and arrange meetings., physical or online, with participating companies. Corporate challenges in situ will take place between the 10:00 and the 12:30h and between 13:00 and the 15:00h each day of the fair.

Planning for a secure environment

Safety continues to be of utmost importance for the organizers of the show to offer the maximum guarantees of protection to visitors during the celebration of the event.

As noted by the organization, anti-COVID safety measures will be constantly reviewed to ensure that the most appropriate plans are in place for the May situation. 2022, as ISE continues to work closely with those responsible for the venue, the city of Barcelona and local and national health authorities.

Possible measures could include the use of face masks, social distancing and the provision of reinforced sanitation measures throughout the enclosure, for access to which a negative test will be required, the certificate of vaccination or a certificate of recovery.
