To tell the story of Rani Lakshmi Bai a light and sound show was created that showed a 270º structural projection design. To do this, eight Titan Laser equipment was used 33000 4K-UHD Digital Projection.

A show of lights and sound, which includes eight projectors Titan Laser 33000 4K-UHD ofDigital Projection, immerse visitors in the life of a national heroine at historic Jhansi Fort, north of India.

Experience, of 30 minutes long, uses state-of-the-art projection technology to show the life and death of Lakshmi Bai, the rani (queen) by Jhansi, of 22 years, who died fighting the British East India Company during the Indian Rebellion (1857–1858).

For this show, the system integrator PAN Intellecom you have created a projection screen of 270 degrees and 83 meters wide on the walls of Jhansi Fort, located on top of a hill, which was originally built in the seventeenth century and witnessed hard battles during the Rebellion.

PAN Intellecom was also in charge of generating the content of the show, using a mix of projection designs, Lasers, Led lights, lighting fixtures and a surround sound system to bring Lakshmi Bai's courage to life during the siege of Jhansi Fort.

The selection of the Digital Projection team was based on a system “in which quality and price prevailed”, Explains Harbir Singh, Director of PAN Intellecom. “The Titan Laser projector was used 33000 4K-UHD with 33.000 lights due to the large size of the screen and the high demands on brightness. The audience sits close to the projected surface and the 4K-UHD resolution is panoramic to offer a great viewing experience”.

In addition to the size of the fortress, the projectors had to work with its façade, that has been damaged and affected by weather during the last few years 400 years. “Being a historical fortress, built hundreds of years ago, the challenge was to ensure the safety and integrity of the structure and still deliver a show that could fascinate the public.”, adds Singh.

For installation at Jhansi Fort, three Titan Lasers were stacked in the center and three on the right, with two more on the left side. Equipped with Digital Projection zoom lenses from 2,56 – 4,16:1, projectors have a long range distance, which makes them very flexible.

“Digital Projection equipment is the ideal solution for the audiovisual system, which also includes a Xeon processor, software Dataton Watchout for mixing and recording lights, a Medialon server as the general controller of the show and an audio system with surround sound that includes 12 12 Dual speakers″ and four Dual subwoofers of 15 inches", Says Sankalp Srivastava, Project AGM for Pan Intellecom.

The Digital Projection team assisted PAN Intellecom throughout the project, offering advice on projectors, lenses and their positioning, as well as during installation and commissioning.
