'I RISE' will illuminate Barcelona during ISE 2022 with an immersive projection

An inspiring projection mapping called 'I RISE', created and produced by Flaix Studio, explore the themes of regeneration and renewal around the professional AV industry during Ise 2022.

Ise 2022 will illuminate Barcelona next May with a projection mapping that will take place, for three consecutive nights (the days 9,10 and 11) while the contest is being held, on the façade of one of the iconic curved buildings of the Plaza de España (Plaça d'Espanya), alongside Fira Montjuïc, sister seat of Fira Gran Via, which will house Integrated Systems Europe.

The Plaza de España is a popular traffic junction and a landmark within the Catalan capital. The pillars of the two curved buildings that extend along the Avenida de la Reina María Cristina are considered the gateway to the Montjuïc fountain, one of the tourist attractions of Barcelona.

Under the name of I RISE, this immersive projection, created and produced by the specialist based in Barcelona Flaix Studio, explore themes of hope, regeneration and renewal as the professional audiovisual industry seeks to return to more normal forms of work after the pandemic.

This projection, fifteen minutes long, will be repeated for two hours on three successive nights, Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 May, of 21:00h a 23:00H. The first night, ISE will celebrate the inauguration of this initiative with a VIP reception on the roof of the Catalonia Barcelona Plaza hotel, next to the installation in which the mapping will be carried out.

In the coming weeks, ISE organization will invite exhibitors and attendees to suggest hashtags that summarize the industry's hopes for the future, with a view to incorporating the best within the projected content.

This same month of April will also be presented a campaign on social networks encouraging people to send their wishes for the future of the audiovisual industry with a single hashtag, some of which will be projected in different languages in the projection mapping

As you pointed out Mike Blackman, CEO of Integrated Systems Events, "from 2018, when we start working to move ISE to your new home, we have received a warm welcome from the many authorities and organizations with which we have collaborated in Barcelona and Catalonia. This projection mapping is our way of giving something back to the city and saying 'thank you'. It will also serve to disseminate ISE among the population".
