Konftel certifies its Cam20 conference camera for Zoom Rooms
In addition to certification with Zoom Rooms, the conference chamber Konftel Cam20 has been enhanced with the automatic framing function, eliminating the need to manually crop the image with digital zoom.
The conference chamber Konftel Cam20 has been certified to work with Zoom Rooms. This is the second product of the company to be compatible with this environment.
This camera carries 4K Ultra HD video resolution from personal workspaces to large meeting rooms. Offers coverage for all participants, that are displayed naturally in a sharp image.
The WDR technology that it includes makes it possible to adjust it automatically to obtain an optimal image under different light conditions. Even in complicated situations of gloom, direct sunlight or high contrast.
As confirmed Torbjörn Karlsson, Konftel Product Manager, the camera has undergone extensive testing as a USB-connected device for Zoom Rooms.
“Zoom Rooms is the conference room system that makes it easy to run or onboard video conferencing at the touch of a button. Konftel Cam20 camera fits naturally, combining exceptional image performance with easy setup. The certification was obtained after passing a rigorous testing process”.
In addition to Zoom certification, the Konftel Cam20 has been enhanced with the automatic framing function, as Karlsson explains.
"With automatic framing, the participants of the room will always be shown perfectly within the image. This eliminates the need to manually crop the image with digital zoom. If someone leaves the room, the framing will be intelligently readjusted. This feature can be disabled if desired".
The Konftel Cam20 has been optimized for situations where the conference camera must be located near the table, although it is also suitable for medium-sized meeting rooms. Its 123° field of view allows all participants to occupy a comfortable position without being excluded from the video image. At the same time, the camera generates a realistic and distortion-free image.
