Prolight+Sound 2022: DAS Audio previews its Lara reinforcement system
Among other novelties, DAS Audio shows in scoop from today in Frankfurt the large-scale sound reinforcement system Lara, together with the Alma software for the control and monitoring of your audio systems and the Integral Series range of professional devices.
Prolight+Sound 2022, which opens its doors today until the 29 April in Frankfurt (Germany), is the contest chosen by the Spanish manufacturer DAS Audio (hall 11 – stand B09), based in Valencia, to showcase for the first time their latest developments to provide the best live sound experience and commercial installations.
One of the novelties is Lara, a system cardioid self-powered line array next-generation, designed for large live events, combining amplification, transducers and management system to offer an efficient and powerful audio solution.
This symmetrical system of four-way and 6,000W has a performance in dB of 146 Linear dB SPL Max and a large dynamic range ideal for large events. Thanks to the cardioid design, achieves a rear attenuation of the -15 dB in the range of 63 Hz to 200 hz.
Lara incorporates two speakers for 12" bass with 4" coil, and another pair of 8" in cardioid configuration, while for the mid-range it uses two other 8" speakers with 2.5" coils. The high-frequency section consists of two M-78N DAS compression motors, with 3" coils and a waveguide with 100º horizontal dispersion.
During Prolight+Sound 2022, DAS Audio also presents Integral Series, a family of professional electronic equipment aimed at providing complete solutions for commercial installations to offer maximum control, ease of use and great performance.
For this it has a wide range of installation devices, audio sources, Amplifiers, matrices such as Integral M-88 and matrix amplifiers such as the MA series.
Control, the configuration and management of the devices is done through the Alma software over IP or from the mobile device using Open Sound Control (OSC), to create and manage multi-zone configurations, centralize control and monitor system operation in real time.
All this with a powerful and easy-to-use interface to manage sound systems. The same, integrates an Ethernet switch for daisy-chaining, no need for an external one, and has analog connectivity, AES67 and Dante.
Among its multiple functionalities, Integral Series allows you to share music in a commercial installation from your mobile device or from your computer, notify the consumer of the availability of his order or give a voice notice in a specific area or in all at the same time, providing up to two priority levels per channel.
Another of the innovations that professionals can know these days is the software for the control and monitoring of DAS Audio Alma systems, that incorporates a graphically advanced interface to manage systems quickly and intuitively.
Alma has been designed with process simplification and intuitive access to tools in mind.. Intelligent programming helps manage and optimize systems quickly and easily, causing adjustment times to be greatly reduced at concerts, corporate facilities or events.
Among its functions are the creation of projects in online and offline mode, Link Manager and Master Control, the integration of the optimization tool DASaim, EQ Fast and intuitive control, Config and Show modes, the notification center, among others.
Demo Event-26A
Throughout the contest and five times a day, DAS Audio performs a special demo of Event-26A for visitors, its ultra-compact, two-way, self-powered line array system, designed for optimal performance and ease of use, both for installations and for live events of small and medium size.
Prolight&Sound 2022 it is also the stage to present to the sector that attends the fair the new subsidiary of DAS Audio in Germany, DAS Audio GmbH, that in its first year of operation has developed positively in this market.
