Audix M45 Shortgun: adjustable ceiling microphone for classrooms and meeting rooms
With a coverage of some 14 m2, the new condenser microphone and adjustable M45 Shortgun Audix has a 'shotgun type' design’ small in size, with a low-profile rotating and pivoting base for flexible installation.
Specially designed by Audix to deliver high-quality sound and maximum vocal intelligibility in classrooms, meeting and conference rooms, hospitals, Etc; the ceiling installation microphone M45 Shortgun offers a sensitivity of 98 mV/Pa a 1 khz and a maximum SPL of >124 Db.
Easy to install in a 1-1/2" hole without the need for additional tools, Audix M45 Shortgun integrates a preamplifier and provides immunity to RF interference.
Microphone level signal and Led control are performed through a RJ45 connection, and also includes an adapter to convert from RJ45 to a terminal block that can be plugged in from eight conductors.
For users using Dante networks, improved entrance ramp Audix DN4 optional for dante|AES67 is available for purchase, supports up to four devices and includes Led logic control.
This miniaturized cannon condenser microphone (with a weight of 195 Gr.), offers a response from 85 Hz to 8 khz, with supercardioid polar pattern, output impedance of 150 Ohms, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 72dB. M45 Shortgun is designed, assembled and tested by Audix at its Wilsonville headquarters (Oregon – USA).
