Hotel Treehouse KV2

The new sound system of this unique London hotel is based on the audio systems of KV2, specified by the English audiovisual integrator Promotiontime NE.

Located in London, Treehouse occupies the site of the former Saint Georges Hotel on Langham Place, and arguably boasts some of the best views of the city, with a casual aesthetic, playful and sustainable, Designed "Through the Optimistic Lens of Childhood".

Hotel Treehouse KV2After closing for more than eighteen months due to the pandemic, The hotel now welcomes its guests with the renovation of the sound system, thanks to the project carried out by the English audiovisual integrator Promotiontime NE, that has designed and specified the audio systems of KV2 for restaurant and bar areas, that completely occupy the floors 15 and 16 Hotel.

Brian Graham, owner and CEO of Promotiontime NE, explains that "we visited other similar KV2 facilities with the CEO of Treehouse, Ayo Akinsete, and his team. Normally, Most customer demonstrations focus on the intensity of using the products, Maintaining pristine audio, I mean, The volume that can be achieved, but Ayo and his team also focused on the experience of low-level background music.".

The efficiency and detail offered by their speakers means they sound warm and defined at low levels and lose absolutely nothing as you increase the volume. All the detail is still heard, which makes the listening experience exceptionally comfortable".

The restaurant Wood, located on the 15 by Treehouse, It is a fusion between high-level Mexican cuisine and experimental gastronomy. Active during the day, It is ready to reach another speed at night: When the sun goes down, so do the lights, but the volume goes up as the energy level increases.

Hotel Treehouse KV2That is why, Graham selected a combination from the active series EX de KV2 -Three compacts EX6 and twelve EX10 more powerful-, which was completed with a couple of subwoofers EX1.5 and six passive subwoofers ESD 1.10, powered by two amplifiers ESP2000. A second area of the restaurant has four other EX6, five EX10s, six ESD1.10 subwoofers and one amplifier ESP2000.

Going up another floor, Customers are in Nest, a pretty rooftop bar decorated with foliage and natural materials, surrounded by a sumptuous outdoor terrace that offers some of the best views in London. The atmosphere is designed to be fun and relaxing during the day and high-energy at night.

Hotel Treehouse KV2Six EX10s were installed in this area, complemented by a couple of EX1.2 and another of EX1.5 subwoofers to help the DJ keep energy levels high well into the night.

The outdoor terrace has an ESD system, Weatherproof, based on fourteen high-quality, low-profile ESD5 speakers driven by a pair of ESP2000. More EX6 loudspeakers have been deployed in the reception areas and assembly halls on both floors.

“The combination of EX and ESD products provided clarity, output and definition required in a pleasantly compact and discreet format," Graham points out. One of the requirements was that the system had the least possible visual impact, so most of it is flown, even subwoofers, and largely hidden among the leafy decoration".
