Edigma full of visual interactivity the Portuguese aquarium Vasco de Gama

A large immersive video wall that simulates a digital aquarium, together with a dynamic floor and interactive tables are the systems that the Portuguese specialist Edigma has created for the Basque Aquarium of Gama and improve the experience for visitors of all ages.

Located in the Portuguese town of Oeiras, the Basque Aquarium of Gama (AVG) is an important center for the dissemination of aquatic life and research, with a wide diversity of animal and plant species of freshwater ecosystems, salty and brackish, qualified as 'living museum of natural history'.

As part of its technological modernization project, AVG managers selected the Portuguese interactive AV systems specialist Edigma to design and integrate immersive solutions to enhance the experience for visitors of all ages.

Located at the entrance, Edigma has arranged a great interactive videowall, of 20 m2, configured with twenty-four screens UHD, offering visitors' first digital ocean immersion, with 3D visual content of the variety of aquariums of the facility that help them prepare the tour, in addition to providing knowledge of the marine environment.

He points this out. Miguel Oliveira, CEO of Edigma, "the new space honors the seabed, bringing visitors closer to various species of fish, building a relationship with the aquatic environment and enhancing its knowledge in a playful way".

An immersive aquarium designed and developed by this company to offer a more dynamic and interactive knowledge about the different marine species of the Portuguese coast, of its habitat and its biological and physiognomic characteristics.

Aimed at the youngest and youngest, the facility features interactive tables where they can color their favorite fish and then watch them come to life in the digital aquarium, making them available to all visitors.

To this is added the so-called 'interactive sea', a visual floor created with artificial intelligence technology (AI) of 8 m2, in which visitors, big and small, have the feeling of jumping through the water without getting wet or playing with turtles, among other possibilities.
