Unitecnic carries out the AV integration of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the University of Bellvitge

In the two health centers, the audiovisual engineering company of Mediapro you have installed PTZ video cameras, Microphones, PA system, multivision monitors for signal display and different types of connections.

Unitecnic, company of the Mediapro Group specialized in audiovisual engineering, has carried out two new projects in health centres. It is the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and University of Bellvitge. The solutions implemented respond to the need of medical specialists to communicate and give access to professionals remotely, as well as to make presentations, conferences or live training.

In the two centers, operating room signals are integrated into an IP platform. Through a touch screen, it is possible to select the signal you want to see and even record without having to have technical knowledge.

Hospital Clínic de Barcelona

In the case of Hospital Clínic, the solution designed by Unitecnic has been implemented in the Cardiovascular Clinic Institute (ICCV).

The Company of the Mediapro Group has been responsible for the audiovisual integration of two new cardiovascular intervention rooms. Each of them has its corresponding control room, as well as a hybrid room with a new radiological system, pioneer in Europe, for complex procedures; and a meeting and training room connected to the three intervention and control rooms.

Unitecnic has equipped each of the three intervention rooms with two PTZ video cameras, Microphones, PA system, multivision monitors for signal display and different types of connections.

The control rooms have a touch screen for audiovisual management, two-way videoconferencing and audio system with intervention units. The space for meetings and training, in addition to being connected to the other areas, has an interactive 4K signal display monitor 75 Inch.

The user interface developed by Unitecnic controls the elements of the facilities and allows a person without technical knowledge to use it from a touch screen. In addition, the new audiovisual system allows signals to be received and sent at events such as congresses. In this way, the audiovisual integration carried out in the Cardiology service of the Hospital Clínic allows to improve the care activity, as well as teaching and dissemination in large medical congresses.

Bellvitge University Hospital

Unitecnic has also been the company in charge of the audiovisual integration of the Ophthalmology Service of the University Hospital of Bellvitge in two operating rooms, a Victus laser room and a meeting and training room.

The two operating rooms are equipped with remote PTZ cameras, wireless microphone, PA system, multi-vision monitors and live broadcast systems.

The meeting and training room has been equipped with a 3D projection system to visualize the signals of the operating rooms, that allows to follow the live interventions of the other three facilities and the two-way communication. The quality of the audio and video signal is guaranteed with the used IP transmission video and audio systems with a professional processor.

The user interface developed by Unitecnic allows you to manage the entire system from a screen in an intuitive way. The hospital has an intercom room of the operating rooms to which the audiovisual signals of other spaces of the center arrive. The surgical block is also connected to this room to receive and send signals to other spaces with the auditorium.
