Otrum Stein Surlien and Uniguest

In its growth policy by acquisitions and consolidation in Europe, Uniguest has now added the companies Otrum AS and the hospitality division of CPI Global, specialized in IP video and digital signage.

Founded in 1985 and based in Oslo (Norway), Otrum AS offers interactive television and digital signage solutions, with more than 2,5 millions of users per month, and from now on it will be part of the digital platform of Uniguest.

As he points out Jeff Hiscox, CEO of Uniguest, "Otrum is a great addition to our business. They have a technology and a team that we have been very impressed with and their platform and culture fits perfectly with ours.. As we carefully integrate them into our business, we will explore opportunities to expand the reach of the entire offering in our combined customer base.".

After acquisition, Stein Surlien, CEO of Otrum AS, will remain in Uniguest. "There are few companies that have such an impressive range of customers., with deep and lasting partnerships in its markets and a range of technologies as wide as Uniguest.. Joining this team was an easy decision, we believe in their vision we are excited to be part of it".

Managed service for hospitality

Just one day after announcing the acquisition of Otrum, joins Uniguest's already long list of business purchases (belonging to the portfolio of Atlantic Street Capital, more data in Digital AV) the hospitality division of the French CPI Global, with which the multinational strengthens its European presence in this sector.

CPI Hospitality provides for more than ten years a managed service of digital signage and ambient sound solutions for hotels, including on-site support, although now its strategy focuses on the so-called Retail Digital Experiences.

So he explains Georges Habibian, Director General of CPI: "Uniguest has an incredible range of customers, both in the hospitality sector and in other markets, with an unparalleled set of products, so we consider them the perfect partner to pass the baton in the service to our loyal customers and to assume the development of our digital signage CMS".

In this responsibility, Hiscox points out that "we trust ourselves to continue with that service. With the addition of several members of CPI's team of experts to ours, we believe that we have the knowledge and experience necessary to improve the offer to CPI Hospitality's clients and continue to achieve quality customer service., that will help us drive our goal of being the world's leading provider of secure digital engagement technologies".
