Juan José Vila, new president of Afial
The Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Audiovisual Technology of Spain (Afial) has renewed its Board of Directors, On this occasion, it will be made up of a new team of professionals who intend to strengthen the projects underway and promote new ones.
Of its General Assembly held last day 7 In July, a Board of Directors was elected, which will be headed by Juan José Vila as president and Christian Orcin, vice-president. They accompany them as members Ignasi Benavent, Dove Foundling, Pedro Medina and Pere Castro.
This new team, representing the various sectors that make up the association, Faces, as highlighted from AFIAL, “This project is excited to face the current challenges facing our industry, and work to strengthen AFIAL's presence, as a key interlocutor in the audiovisual sector and to publicise its activities”.
Among the main objectives that this new board of directors has set, the active participation, on behalf of its partners, in the different public forums to boost and transform the audiovisual sector and the entertainment industry in Spain; develop the active training of workers in the sector through the organization and collaboration in webinars, seminars and training days; promote and disseminate the activities of its partners; as well as the legal advice to companies in the sector and the joint defence of the interests of their partners.
In this sense, the new board wants to highlight the importance of the business associations and AFIAL, as an engine of the audiovisual sector promoting collaboration with other national and international organizations, strengthening business contacts and working to achieve the common objectives of the associates and the audiovisual sector in general.
The new Board of Directors wanted to thank the previous board, and especially to its president Miguel Mosque, their work and their personal involvement in the sector and this association, during these last years.
