The Impact Simulator experience comes to life through five 4K screens of 86 vertically mounted inches; while in Galactic Explorer three touch computers are used Ideum Presenter of 65 Inch.

Ideum has worked with the UFO Museum to create two interactive experiences that share archival footage and NASA research in playful ways for the Roswell International UFO Museum and Research Center (New Mexico).

Museum exhibits include information about Roswell incident, crop circles, UFO sightings, the Area 51, former astronauts and abductions. In its design it has not sought to convince anyone to believe in one way or another about its themes.. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions.

Ideum has created an experience that simulates the forced landing of an alien spacecraft. In the Impact Simulator, visitors have a front row seat for the Roswell impact incident.

In a dark room, they discover a mysterious interstellar view and a scene very similar to the bridge of a spaceship. Visitors can press the big red button to begin an immersive experience that represents a fantastic setting in which they take on the role of extraterrestrial explorers tracing a course to Earth and landing.

Throughout the experience, a narrator provides additional contextual information about the incident and its history.

Simulation comes to life in five 4K screens of 86 Inch mounted vertically from edge to edge and combined in a single viewing window of 10,800×3.840.

A sound system 3.1 and a subwoofer channel for deeper sound effects provides stereo audio. A DMX provides backlighting to the screens and serves to improve the visual experience.

Instead of a dedicated app, Impact Simulator uses MadMapper for show control. The immersive AV experience was designed, integrated and installed by Ideum AV specialists.

Galactic Explorer

Before visitors land on their way back to Roswell, they are offered an experience that allows them to put on the helmet of the alien surveyors in the search game Galactic Explorer.

Brought to life on three touch screens Ideum Presenter of 65 Inch, visitors uncover interstellar mysteries and scour the far reaches of the great cosmos in search of life beyond.

By choosing between three stretches of space and two game modes, visitors drag their finger across a hexagonal grid to discover clues, find power-ups and avoid dangers, all before your energy runs out.

Once you've found all eight tracks or exhausted your power supply, you'll see a detailed 'findings' screen that includes NASA-based information about the possibilities of life beyond Earth. Players who have discovered all eight can add up to three starters to the leaderboard.
