A Dutch pastry shop creates innovative gastronomic spaces with Powersoft DMD

At the chef's establishment Eric van Otten WM Touch control screens and Mezzo amplifiers have been installed Powersoft, as well as 14 Speakers Sonance PS-S63T and a solution of Biamp.

The Pastry Chef Eric van Otten has established a new concept for its establishment in Amsterdam in which it has created multiple areas where you can taste its products with the help of the Dynamic Music Distribution (Dynamic Music Distribution – DMD) of Powersoft.

Unlike many of the pastry shops that run through the streets of the city, Van Otten offers its customers several places to sit and enjoy its culinary delights: the outdoor patio, the ice cream parlor and different private spaces, each of them endowed with sounds that improve the gastronomic experience in general.

Powersoft's DMD solution provides corporate premises, Retail or hospitality a high-quality audio backbone that ensures selected speakers receive the perfect amount of power for each 'zone'.

The Dutch professional audio distributor, Mennegat, was contacted by Eric Van Otten with the aim of creating a multifunctional retail and hospitality space with high quality music, adapting the guest experience to the place where they are sitting.

In addition to WM Touch screens and Mezzo amplifiers, the installation consists of 14 professional series surface mount speakers PS-S63T of Sonance and an Internet radio Biamp, that work in harmony to offer a unique gastronomic experience in the pastry shop.

Today, the market's alternative to DMD is a traditional matrix/DSP system, which must be accompanied by a four-channel amplifier to provide all spaces with an independent music channel. With Powersoft DMD, two Mezzo amplifiers can be used and provide enough power to amplify 14 Sonance 30W/100V speakers along with two WM Touch displays.
