Avocor Facilitates Collaboration and Hybrid Work in Contra Costa County
The F-Series displays of Avocor have improved communication, collaboration and real-time broadcast of the sessions that take place in this North American county.
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area (California – USA. USA), the Contra Costa County has its administrative headquarters in a modern four-storey building, with a wave of glass inside, as a symbol of the one that devastated the original building.
This avant-garde design also extends to its interior, in particular to the new chamber room, as well as offices and meeting spaces, that materializes in an efficient and easy-to-use audiovisual equipment by the staff.
Precisely for this reason, Wayne Tilley, Contra Costa County Deputy Director of IT, decided to integrate remote work functionality, as well as the main collaboration platforms, how Teams, zoom and Google Meet, to offer your staff the greatest flexibility.
"We work with Ids, specialized exactly in the type of technological renewal we were looking for," explains Tilley- and together we came up with a solution that integrated all the functions we had identified.: be platform agnostic and have the ability to switch between programs like Teams, Zoom or whiteboard tasks without changing devices".
For this they opted for the display devices of Avocor, "that are platform independent, so they adapt perfectly to our requirements -he adds-, and also integrate with our control system Crestron".
The solution has two systems of the F Series by Avocor: AVF-6650 and AVF-8650, that are completely platform-agnostic and work with unified communications tools and devices to create a collaborative environment in the executive meeting space, the conference room and offices in the building.
As he points out Matthew Rhodes, Sales Director for North America at IDS, "We designed the system to be extremely flexible and for the client to be able to take a hybrid approach that allowed them to remotely tune in to board sessions and be present in person.".
In this sense, it is now possible to stream camera content to conference rooms via Avocor screens so contra costa county audiences can see council sessions in real time, "with smooth video-based content delivery", Says.
