DAS Audio Sound Cheers On Elite Basketball League Audience

The specialist AG Production Services has designed and equipped this American sports facility with the Aero series, Artec, HQ, UX and CL of the Spanish company DAS Audio.

Created in the United States, Overtime Elite (Ote) is a new basketball league that offers the world's most talented young players an opportunity to become professionals, Studying, training and competing in its modern facilities, of some 10.000 m2.

To ensure the best sound and support their matches and events held there, toG Production Services -with Andrew Gumper, company president at the helm of this project – has designed and equipped OTE's facilities with series systems Aero, Artec, HQ, Ux and CL of the Spanish company DAS Audio.

"For the managers of OTE it was important to achieve a state-of-the-art sports facility that had the best sound equipment., paying particular attention to the reproduction of advertisements and other information that should not only be adequate in terms of volume, but clear and intelligible, so we opted for DAS Audio technology", explains Gumper.

With the capacity to 1.200 Spectators, the basketball court is the main space of OTE, so they have been installed 32 Systems line array three-way Aero-40A, with 12" rear-loading speaker for low-frequency playback, one 8" for the mid-range and two neodymium compression motors M-75N coupled to a waveguide BPS-2912 for high frequencies.

To these are added 16 line array compact Aero-20A with 12" speaker for low-mid range and a compression motor M-75N for high frequencies. Eight subwoofers UX-218A, with dual 18" speaker, front-loaded and in cross-shot configuration, take care of the low frequencies.

OTE facilities also include a fitness center, training courts, classrooms and offices. In these areas, AG Production Services has located 12 Artec-326 point source boxes, with double 6" transducer for low frequencies, and compression engine M-26 for discharges.

Systems have also been installed HQ-212.64-CX two-way and long throw, with two 12" speakers, low frequency diffuser and neodymium compression motor M-78N for the high frequency range. To this are added 96 ceiling speakers CL-8, with 8" coaxial transducer, spread throughout the enclosure.
