The big screen, named Meet Us, has been configured by a system planar TVF1.2 of 7,7 m2. It shows dynamic images that reflect the diversity of Latino experiences in the United States..
The Latin Gallery of the Molina Family (The Molina Family Latino Gallery) has opted for planar and his series TVF for the realization of Meet Us, one videowall interactive and multimedia that serves as a prelude to what is inside.
The National Museum of Latino American Smithsonian operates the Molina Family Latino Gallery at the National Museum of American History in Washington.
Inaugurated last June, this is a space of 418 square meters and has been designed to captivate a multigenerational and multicultural audience. Exhibitions will feature stories in English and Spanish with dynamic samples and immersive learning experiences.
The exhibition elements of the Latin Gallery include an interactive and multimedia wall at the entrance that serves as a prelude to what is inside.. The big screen, named Meet Us, has been installed by the audiovisual integrator BBI Engineering and is integrated by a videowall Planar TVF1,2 of almost 4 meters long by 2 meters high (7,7 m2) with a pixel pitch of 1,2 Mm.
According to David Coronado, communication officer of the National Museum of the American Latino, Meet Us has been designed with attractive content to attract visitors, especially Latinos.
In addition, Crowned, Adds, that the screen also had to arouse the curiosity of the non-Latino population visiting the National Mall.
Designed with an app Unity custom Potion, Meet Us showcases dynamic imagery that reflects the diversity of Latino experiences in the United States and incorporates an imagined backdrop with Latino scenes including urban and rural landscapes.
When visitors approach and stand in front of the videowall, sensors make one of the six virtual Latino characters appear to welcome them.
The Led videowall of the TVF series of Planar can also be configured for other uses. During the first phase of conception of the multimedia wall, the museum staff suggested including the possibility of taking control of the videowall to project videos or personalized presentations. During a recent press presentation, you could see this feature in action.
