Sony has begun marketing in Europe of its compact camera SRG-X40UH. This is the latest addition to its line of PTZ cameras, Ideal for remote communication and monitoring functions in sectors such as corporate, education or health.

As we already advanced in Digital AV Magazine, This camera was announced in April and presented at the last edition of ISE. This equipment adopts image sensor CMOS Exmor R 4K and offers high-quality images in 4K, plus powerful zoom capability with a wide viewing angle, and UVC and HMI connectivity. With an interface connection, It is easy to connect and is used in many live video applications, Including web conferencing, with a simple self-installing USB-C cable connection.

Sony SRG-X40UH

By combining Clear Image Zoom technology up to 40x in FHD and 30x in 4K, and a viewing angle of 70º, The SRG-X40UH offers natural color reproduction and high sensitivity to capture facial or other details during remote communications, even with poor lighting.

Fast PTZ motion with ceiling mount option allows this camera to capture important scenes in different locations, from small conference rooms to large auditoriums.

The SRG-X40UH with its simple UVC and HDMI connections, and its compatibility with PoE+, can be integrated into existing systems with minimal cabling and is remotely controlled by a VISCA/VISCA over IP command.
