According to MGM Northfield Park's director of entertainment and operations, Alex Trusnik, The latest investment has been made in upgrading the lighting infrastructure, which replaces a piece of equipment that has been in operation since the opening of the property in 2013.

“The investment is a testament to MGM Resorts International's commitment to entertainment in Northfield and the growth of Center Stage”, says Trusnik.

The project took many months to complete, From initial design to full installation, as they searched for the optimal solution: “During the process, I met weekly with our production manager, Austin Brown, and with the lighting designer, John Middleton, to discuss what options would take Center Stage to the next level. The goal was to ensure that we continued to offer the best possible experience not only to our guests, but also to the artists we bring in and their touring teams, night after night”.

“He was impressed by some of the unique features of the Impression X5″, explains Alex Trusnik. "The networking capabilities and speed of the luminaire, especially the wide zoom, it's what caught John's attention and why he brought the option to our meetings. Our infrastructure is built around an ACN network, So those capabilities were a big selling point for us”.
