the 180 George Street is an office building, of 263 meters high and 53 floors, shown as the centerpiece of the new Circular Quay in Sydney. As spectacular as its construction and height is the design of its lobby that is illuminated with digital content displayed on giant Led screens that can be seen from the street.
After a long bidding process, Diversified was selected as audiovisual integrator of the project, having successfully delivered Led walls in other emblematic developments, both in Australia and around the world.
The Led installation of the lobby has four huge indoor screens SNA Displays Bold, two of which come together to wrap a corner of 90 degrees and combining to become, in which it is considered the largest indoor Led wall in the Southern Hemisphere, with a surface of 435,8 square meters.
The pixel pitch of 4 millimeters allows an optimal viewing experience on each of the faces they measure 10,5 meters high with widths varying from 7 to 12,6 metre, processing more than 25,5 millions of pixels. The scale of the Led walls allows them to be visible from almost all areas of the enclosure. This includes stores, Restaurants and public spaces.
To ensure a smooth installation, Diversified worked in partnership with PCB Digital to install the displays and a live video stream was set up for the SNA Displays team to monitor the installation and provide remote support.
This allowed Diversified to resolve issues efficiently as the installation progressed., Each panel was reviewed, as well as calibrations and systems were put into operation. The team looks forward to continuing to contribute to the workspace in the coming months with 11 Led walls more than will be installed in the 16 Office floors.
