K-array brings sound to Sungroup's multi-purpose auditorium
This installation has a complete sound infrastructure, based on the technology of K-array, including three Domino-KF212 and four KF210 speakers, one Thunder-KSC18P subwoofer and two Kommander amplifiers, one KA84 and one KA24.
On the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc is the Sungroup auditorium, a building that is used for multiple applications and in which a sound infrastructure based on K-array.
To respond to the requirements of this multipurpose building, a K-array speaker system has been installed., Integrated with set-top boxes and a control solution to manage the entire infrastructure. The equipment has been carefully chosen as it is a coastal area where there is great humidity.
K-array speaker system is the ideal choice, since it satisfies all the criteria that Digital Storm established throughout the design phase of the project. These solutions have a stainless steel housing that makes them durable, Despite high humidity and air erosion by sea salt.
Speaker design is compact and easy to install behind a screen. The interior space is not affected by this arrangement. The audio performance of the speaker system, along with a DSP power amplifier that allows for wide adjustment, makes the setup suitable for most audio purposes.
A curved screen has been created 16:9 with a maximum width of 7 meters to complement the hemispherical arrangement of the room. The sound of the speaker system, behind the screen, is heard through the tiny holes in the neutral white fabric of the curtain.
All system controls fit on a touchscreen interface of 11 Inch, with pre-programmed contexts. The context adapts, for smooth and proper operation, to every user request, saving time on training and operating procedures.
Installed solutions:
- Three Domino-KF212 and four Domino- KF210.
