The new study of HIT Productions now has the professional AV over IP video solution of Audinate to offer flexible signal transport between your different rooms.
Located in Makati's central business district, in the Philippines, HIT Productions is a post-production studio that has been doing advertising work for more than thirty years, music, Cinema and localization of streaming.
In order to respond to the needs of its customers, The company decided to change its headquarters, as the old facilities were based on point-to-point analogue connections, Designed in the era of specialized rooms with limited signal routing options, resulting in inefficient use of space and resources.
Dennis Cham, founding partner and CTO of HIT Productions, decided to implement Dante AV -the professional AV over IP video solution from Audinate as a transport base for all audio and video between rooms, in order for the new facilities to have a flexible AV design that would allow you to physically reconfigure studios based on production needs and seamlessly redirect audio and video streams, as well as offering hybrid workflows for the company's employees.
"Dante AV gave us the flexibility to connect rooms in any number of combinations with cables. Ethernet Cat 6 standard -explains Cham-. Audio and video quality is exceptional, And the flexibility to route it around the facility with a few cables has been very liberating.".
This is a complete integrated network audio and video solution from Audinate, that incorporates to the video all the advantages that have made Dante the most used audio over IP system on the market so far.
All products in the Dante AV family use a single application to manage audio and video, for greater visibility and ease of use. In addition, are interoperable with more than 3.500 Dante products that already exist in the market.
Dante AV uses a single main clock for the entire system -regardless of the number of endpoints-, which allows the Standalone routing of audio and video streams, while maintaining perfect synchronization.
At its new headquarters, HIT Productions uses high-performance FiberPlex FPX6000 gateways from Patton to route video signals through Dante over the network to where needed. Audio I/O is routed through multiple portable Dante interfaces RedNet X2P of Focusrite, controlled by RedNet R1 systems.
In addition, Dante also connects multiple Focusrite Red audio interfaces and Avid MTRX Studio powering the new facility's largest production suites.
HIT Productions currently has twelve Production rooms that work with Dante AV, and plans to expand them to the twenty-eight it has in its installation. Dedicated Dante wiring has also been deployed on the twelve type workstations. hot desk and in all four Conference and meeting spaces.
"Dante AV was the perfect solution to send audio and video to the entire facility with the lowest latency.. It is a cutting-edge technology that will allow us to be more productive and expand to meet the challenges of a changing industry.", concludes Cham.
