Southern Cross Austereo incorporates VuePix INFiLED solutions in its content creation center

Lumicom has worked in collaboration with Southern Cross Austereo To create a solution that includes 168 VuePix cabinets INFiLED Digital Wallpaper, attached to the structures of the building.

The platform VuePix INFiLED Digital Wallpaper has been installed in the new facilities of Southern Cross Austereo, creating an ideal environment to produce exceptional content. This is the most important entertainment company in Australia, offering creative solutions across a diverse portfolio of multimedia brands.

Its content creation centre in Melbourne's south has moved and Lumicom has taken on the challenge of providing state-of-the-art AV technology for the new facility.

"We knew before we started working on this project., which would be delicate, that would require first-class technology and a high level of customization.", Explains Scott Summers, Engineering Services Manager at Lumicom. We had to make sure that the technological solution we offered was not only the best that exists., it also had to adapt to the environment. Factors such as extremely quiet operation, No moiré in the camera, Reliable and easy-to-use content control solutions, were crucial for this kind of environment.".

The Lumicom team worked in collaboration with the architects and engineers and devised a solution that included 168 cabinets VuePix Infiled Digital Wallpaper, attached to the structures of the building. This complemented the ultra-modern look and feel of the environment..

High-resolution Digital Wallpaper platforms have been installed (with a pixel of 1,5 Mm ) in five of the main studies. Each of them in various sizes and configurations, that best complement the space and purpose of each study.

Space flexibility and technology have also been taken into account, with two rooms offering a semi-permanent solution, that can be easily changed and reconfigured when needed.

Southern Cross Austereo produces and delivers creative content that reaches more than 95 % of the Australian population.
