Nationwide Arena Upgrades Digital Signage Network with SNA Displays

This multi-purpose sports hall has once again opted for the LED technology of SNA Displays to expand your digital signage network with 50 New screens.

the Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL), has upgraded its digital signage network with the addition of more than 50 LED Screens SNA Displays.

"Host events since the year 2000, Needed major renovations, and the digital screens that SNA Displays has installed have helped bring a more modern venue to our guests and players alike.", Explains Derek Smith, General Manager for the Nationwide Arena National Arena. "Having all the digital resources inside the stadium and above our entrance gates helps to improve the experience. Our team tunnel is the best in sports and allows us greater flexibility with messaging and content.".

As part of the improvements, SNA Displays Has Updated Dozens of Static Signs with Video Screens Bold and Brilliant Indoor throughout the stadium. The program has also included new LED signage for several rooms and corridors of the stadium, as well as several Empire Led Screens at the east and west entrances of the venue.

Anthony James Partners (AJP) provided consulting services during each phase of the project and selected SNA Displays to provide the LED display systems.

"The new signage adds to the excitement and has created additional advertising and sponsorship opportunities. In addition, It's helping on a functional level, with assets such as fine pixel pitch outdoor digital signage that effectively directs fans to the proper waiting lines when they enter the facility", Explains David Watroba, AJP's Chief Administrative Officer.

One feature of the update is a custom three-sided display known as a 'waterfall'. The display system is located in the tunnel and includes two 2,7 meters high that are located in a corner, attaching to a ceiling screen of 3,3 meters that stretches down the corridor, making custom settings ideal for anamorphic and 3D creative content.

Other highlights include removable screens for both player tunnels, as well as a wall-mounted slim-profile LED screen that is used as a backdrop for press conferences.

"Coordinating the specifications and logistics for dozens of LED assets of various sizes and shapes was a big task", Explains Mikell Senger, SNA Displays Senior Project Manager. "Nationwide Arena has done a good job of enhancing the digital signage experience for fans, players and staff".

The new improvements are the second phase of updates made two years ago. in 2021, SNA Displays built and installed a state-of-the-art LED mini-center hung in the Columbus Blue Jackets players' locker room as part of a major renovation also designed by Anthony James Partners.

American Interstate Signcrafters and SoundCom provided the installation services, and ~sedna Provided a new content management system and media server for the upgrade.
