Powersoft enhances oceanfront audio experience at Arabic club Lumi Beach

The new sound system, based on Duecanali and Quattrocanali fixed installation amplifiers from Powersoft, facilitates performances in this tourist space facing the sea of um Al Quwain, in United Arab Emirates (EAU).

Lumi Beach, located in the second smallest emirate of the UAE and part of the hotel um Al Quwain Beach, It is the main beach destination in the area, offering signature cuisine and local specialties, Cocktails, In addition to hosting music sessions, DJ, Sports competitions and private events.

Its managers have modernized precisely the DJ area facing the sea, for which they have counted on the local specialist Pro Lab to design a new sound system that would provide a high-quality audio base, both for daily use and for live club events.

For this project, Pro Lab has installed the Duecanali and Quattrocanali amplifiers of Powersoft, that are combined with speakers of Martin Audio, C modelsDD8, CDD12 and CDD15 and the SX118 subwoofer, to create a flexible and powerful system that provides sound quality in an acoustically challenging space and, for the most part ,Outdoor.

Using Duecanali, A compact two-channel amplifier designed for installed sound reinforcement systems, in his format 4804 (4.800W), and models Quattrocanali 2404 and 8804, The installation also uses the Dynamic music distribution system from Powersoft, that gives system integrators the ability to scale Up to four independent zones using the dynamic routing capabilities built into by their amplifiers.

Jan Tarakji, CEO of Pro Lab, explains that "we recommend these Powersoft amplifiers because they work perfectly with the previous configuration of the club.. They have several presets that combine well with the rest of the system, allowing the customer to continue using their current speakers".

The amplifiers have been placed in an outdoor rack in the DJ area, near the dance floor. Compared to the previous system, the new configuration of Powersoft and Martin Audio "is easier to use and handle, and creates a great atmosphere in the area thanks to the sound quality", adds Tarakji.

While the project has been a success, Some problems had to be addressed, how to solve the large volume of salty air blowing into the amplifier rack from the Gulf. "As the teams were placed outside and facing the sea, the rack was filled with saline particles that damaged the amplifiers, Tarakji recalls.. Luckily it could be repaired, and Powersoft provided the spare parts free of charge.".
