SNA Displays Led technology optimizes visual capacity in stadiums
The new scoreboard of the Provost Umphrey stadium will be designed with an outdoor Led Empire screen of SNA Displays. With a resolution of 1,920×1.080 will process more than 2 millions of pixels.
SNA Displays You have secured a contract to update the video scoreboard of the Provost Umphrey Stadium of the Lamar University, educational center located east of Houston. The venue is home to the NCAA football team. Lamar Cardinals and has the capacity to 16.000 Spectators.
Anthony James Partners (AJP) has provided support to Lamar in the selection of SNA Displays to manufacture and supply the new video card, using its technology of Led Empire screen outdoor with a pixel pitch of 10 Mm.
The new scoreboard will feature a much larger video screen, of 19 meters wide by 10,6 high, almost twice the size of the existing board. With a resolution of 1,920×1.080 Pixels, The digital display will process more than 2 millions of pixels.
The new video board will house a new point source audio system designed by AJP that will create a noticeable difference for fans. The structure will house long-range speakers of synergy horn of Danley Sound Labs complemented by dual subwoofers of 18 Inch, powered by Danley DNA 20K4 Pro amplifiers.
Additional elements to the structure include an interlocking LU logo of 2 meters high on the side facing the field and an illuminated Lamar University athletics logo from 11 meters wide facing the street.
