More and more congregations in the place of worship sector are aware of the creative possibilities offered by technologies such as the videomapping and real-time composition. That's why companies with a proven track record like DWP Live are able to support them and their creative partners, both during the planning and implementation phases of the project.

A recent example of this trend is the initiative carried out by the World Outreach Church with the help of DWP Live. This has been reflected in the campaign 'Sanctuary of the Scriptures: The Walk Way', intended to raise funds for the expansion and improvement of the current church facilities.

A portion of this campaign included conducting indoor projections with maps to display stunning, interactive images to visitors as they walk through the campus's pedestrian spaces.

A media server license Pixera of Stumpfl AV installed on custom DWP Live hardware and two projectors UDX 4K32 Boat were the key components of the installation.

Traylor Woodall, of Fivestone Studios, turned to DWP Live to help transform conceptual design, Storyboards and content, Custom-made, and provide an inspiring mapping experience, becoming an integral part of the on-site presentation of the fundraising campaign.

One of the challenges during the assembly process was to cover a series of glass surfaces, exposing connected mullions and architectural elements.

“We decided to paint the foam core to match the walls so that there would be no color changes on the projection façade”, Whetstone explains.

In order to focus on the simplicity and ease of use of the final installation, the DWP Live team created a content loop and connected the lighting elements using timecode, resulting in a 'one-button' control setup for the team running the content throughout the visitor experience.

Danny Whetstone shares his impressions on using the Pixera platform for the installation. “I love the intuitive simplicity of the main graphical user interface, which allowed us to easily and efficiently stream native 4K content to the projection system. The ability to synchronize the lighting console GrandMA of MA Lighting through timecode was another plus point, as it meant that the lighting looks could follow the timeline without the need for additional operators for such a long-running show.".
