Roller Boogie Palace Offers Skaters an AV Experience Controlled by Hippotizer

The facility has 10 Led screens, five projectors and 200 tubes Shiny, all powered by Hippotizer Boreal+ MK2 Media Servers.

The legendary Flipper’s America's Roller Boogie Palace has landed in London, offering fun-seeking skaters a club-like experience, rich in AV technology.

Advertised as “the best track in the world”, the facility has 10 Led screens, five projectors and 200 Lucenti tubes, all driven by Hippotizer Boreal+ MK2 Media Servers Green Hippo.

The new two-story space 10.363 square meters has the capacity to receive 2.500 people per day and is configured as a live music venue and bar-restaurant, besides the track.

Around the main skating area there are a series of screens, videowall Led and projections that offer a great visual experience. The projection surfaces are roller blinds made of Carbon Black, a new fabric with carbon fiber nanotubes woven into the material.

The goal was to create a system that could serve media to 16 Display destinations around the venue day after day, but also allow an operator to manually manipulate content to the beat of music to give a dance party feel to club nights.

Flipper's now offers regular DJ nights, celebrating spinners who speak to diverse skate communities. Tickets for the night are sold as a club night, with the only difference that the dance is on wheels.

The new function of Hippotizer v4.8 – Preset Timelines– which allows you to create looks and save them as layer or blend presets and then create timelines in Timeline Plus using these pre-saved looks.

The team designed the Hippotizer system to be able to stream live content to screens (For example, broadcasting of sporting events) and there are also cameras installed throughout the rink that can stream the skating action live to Boreal+ MK2 and screens.
