Nureva and Lumens join their technologies to provide accurate tracking
The agreement includes the integration of the HDL410 audio conferencing system of Nureva with PTZ cameras Lumens. Incorporation of positional audio data improves remote experience.
Nureva has announced integration with Lumens Digital Optics for sophisticated positional camera tracking. It's all about pairing the audio conferencing system HDL410 with the PTZ cameras.
Using the Nureva Sound Localization Device API, available through your Developer Toolkit, and Lumens CamConnect pro, This software-free integration allows coordinate-based location data from Nureva's HDL410 system to precisely and seamlessly direct one or more cameras to where people are talking in the room.
HDL410's accurate sound location data improves camera vision in crowded boardrooms or classrooms, where tracking faces and bodies can be tricky.
Precise camera steering and switching creates an enhanced remote collaboration experience by focusing precisely on the active interlocutor and eliminating the need to configure lobes assigned to camera presets.
Lumens completed an integration with the systems HDL300 and Dual HDL300 of Nureva in January. Integration with HDL410 system to be completed this summer.
Camera tracking is becoming a key requirement in hybrid spaces, and the upcoming Lumens integration is one of many leveraging next-generation technology. Microphone Mist by Nureva.
Its thousands of virtual microphones are used to precisely locate sound sources anywhere in a room, and advanced processing algorithms filter out unwanted sounds that make it difficult for remote participants to follow the presenter.
Nureva API transmits location and sound level data, adapted to the Nureva audio system being used. Sound location is reported multiple times per second to allow automatic camera adjustments based on speaker location or multiple speakers. In this way, Ensures accurate camera positioning and an enhanced experience for remote participants.
Visitors to InfoComm, to be held from the 14 to the 16 June 2023, will be able to see both products working together at the Lumens booth (2061).
