Europalco creates a 3D stage for the corporate event 'Caixa fora da caixa'
The Portuguese provider Europalco has given free rein to the imagination to create a three-dimensional effect, with a composition of cubes and boxes that represented the concept of the event 'box out of the box', with Led display systems, projection, Sound and lighting.
The internal annual meeting Caixa fora da caixa of the Portuguese public bank Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), held recently in Lisbon and which brought together 4.000 Employees of the entity under the slogan Together we can go further, to explain the results of the last year and the challenges for this year, had an innovative technological environment.
For this event, the agency Prestige for Brands trusted the Portuguese audiovisual specialist Europalco, who was responsible for providing the stage, The furniture, as well as sound systems, lighting and video, that installed for two weeks a team consisting of forty people.
To project the Caixa brand and the concept of the meeting, Caixa fora da caixa” (Box out of the box), Europalco project department worked on a theme of boxes that synchronized with nine moving parts of a Led wall, with dimensions of 40×10 metre. The different elements of the same box worked separately, but they created a unique and cohesive piece.
The scenography was mainly nourished by the projection to achieve this technological and futuristic effect of lighting and the mirror effect. The interior of the boxes presented an innovative solution with a structure composed of Led tubes of Astera and a light effect achieved through mirrors.
As pointed out by the team of Europalco engineers who participated in this project, "The idea was to give the screen a three-dimensionality.; when the pieces of the screen moved away, on the back, we had mirrors with Led tubes to give an effect of depth".
Europalco employed seven video projectors 30.000 Lumens for the display and speed motors variable of Movecat To synchronize screen movements with video, while capturing the attention of viewers, who did not know at all times what the screen was going to look like.
To deliver this spectacular visual experience, Europalco used the image processor Spyder X80 and the server Pandoras Box, both from the audiovisual manufacturer Christie. Suspending the mirror boxes was the biggest challenge of the project, since their sizes were the most difficult to assemble.
Pedro Magalhaes, founder and CEO of Europalco, This is what he points out.: We are delighted with the outcome of the CGD meeting. This event required good planning, which was key to their success, which included not only the creation of the project in 3D, but also all the important details, from the arrangement of furniture and lighting to the position of the speakers on stage.
