Modulo Pi manages the immersive room of the Yanbu visitor center
As part of the pilot project to boost Saudi Arabia's cultural heritage, the media server Modulo Pi feeds the six Epson laser projectors installed in the new immersive room of the visitor center of this city.

Yanbu City, home to the largest port on the Red Sea and part of the Global Network of Learning Cities of the UNESCO, has been chosen to create the first visitor center as part of this initiative with the latest technology, integrated by the specialist in cultural projects Samaya Investment.
As he explains Mohammed Al-Zeeny, Technical Director of Samaya Investment, "the Al-Sur district, in Yanbu, It was the pilot project to create the visitor center's immersive room that made its success critical.".
After renovating and transforming a historic building in this city, an immersive room was designed for visitors to know the history of the Al-Sur district in a differential way, with the 180º projection of a film in which photography and 3D graphics are combined.
To project on the walls and floor of this room immersive area have installed six laser projectors of high brightness manufacturer Epson, that are powered by a media server Player Pro Module of Modulo Pi.
"We chose this media server, Equipped with six outputs for the same number of projectors installed, for its reliability, ease of use and suitability for permanent installations", says Mohammed Al-Zeeny.
The Modulo Player media server is responsible for the Audio and video playback of the entire immersive room, as well as the mixture of soft edges that are projected on the walls and on the floor.
