Holmusic opens a centre for audio and lighting experimentation and training

The Experience Center of Holmusic is located in Barcelona, in a warehouse of 600 m2 that has been divided into an office and exhibition area and a demonstration and training area.

Holmusic has inaugurated its Experience Center, An innovative space for experimentation, Explore & Receive Product Training, both new and existing, of the brands it distributes. This facility is located in Barcelona, in an industrial warehouse in 600 square meters that have been designed to provide customers and partners with a unique experience in the field of audio and lighting.

The Experience Center is divided into two areas: Offices & Exhibitions, and demonstration and training. The office and exhibition area is presented in a space of 250 m2 and is the first point of contact for visitors. It's where the offices are located, divided into two different workspaces.

In this same space, on a surface of 150 square meters, Visitors can access the exhibition area where a wide range of musical instruments are displayed, Professional Audio & Lighting Equipment.

The Demonstration and Training Zone, it is the space that Holmusic considers to be the jewel of its Experience Center. An area of 350 m2 equipped with advanced acoustic treatment, that seeks to emulate the experience of listening to high-performance sound systems outdoors. This is achieved by a reverberation time of less than 0,3 seconds and consistent frequency response throughout the room, ensuring optimal sound quality.

To achieve this acoustic conditioning, the area has been designed with a series of elements that make it ideal for the functions for which they have been designed. A rock wool absorbent panel has been installed that offers high sound absorption at mid and high frequencies. It has been used on the walls and ceiling to achieve an acoustically optimal environment.

It also has an acoustic panel that provides great absorption in mid-frequencies and good mechanical resistance. It has been used on wall surfaces. A third resonator panel plus a rock wool absorber provides sound absorption at mid and high frequencies, as well as in low frequency (Tuned to 63 hz). It has been implemented in the blind parts of the resonator panel and the walls of the room. To complete the acoustic treatment, The floor has been covered with carpet, Providing an optimal sound environment.

The demonstration area has a clear height of 5,65 meters and is equipped with a 5-meter stage×4 metre, a 5 inch LED display×3 meters and 4 motors for flying line array systems. This allows for rigging exercises and various demonstrations of your PA solutions for live with the help of PK Sound, HK Audio, K-Array and Turbosound.

The FOH control area is prepared to work with the different mixing consoles of Midas and Waves.
