Daktronics at Mizzou Arena

Suspended in the center of the track, The new scoreboard features four video screens of Daktronics, of 5×7,5 each one, and at the bottom there are two additional ones measuring 1.8×5 meters each.

The Mizzou Arena has debuted a central scoreboard system with suspended and auxiliary screens manufactured by the Brookings company Daktronics (South Dakota), ready to inform and entertain fans. In total, Nine screens have been supplied to the University of Missouri, located in Columbia, Before the Fall Sports Season.

Suspended in the center of the track, The scoreboard features four main video screens with a continuity that offers a seamless canvas and are visible from anywhere in the arena. Each screen measures about 5 meters high by 7,5 meters wide. At the bottom of the center marker, Two additional screens are tilted toward the audience sitting closest to the court. These two measure 1,80 meters high by 5 meters wide each.

The central displays have a pixel resolution of 5,9 millimeters delivering crisp, bright images. Each of them can display any combination of live video, Instant replays, Up-to-the-minute statistics, Graphics, Sponsorship Animations or Messages. They can be divided into zones with varying content, allowing a large image or multiple areas of digital content to be displayed.

As for the auxiliary screens installed in the enclosure, Three giants have been installed that complement the content of the main screen and offer a complete and immersive experience during each match. One of them measures 0,76 meters high by 5 meters wide, while the other two are of 0,76 meters high by 3,5 meters wide. All three have a pixel resolution of 5,9 Mm.

Installed over the entrances and exits of the public to the stands, These screens can provide additional graphics and information, while also being an important channel for sponsors during events.

In addition to systems and equipment, Daktronics has developed a content package produced by its Daktronics Creative Services division.
