Sharjah Airport Installs Commercial Kiosks at Baggage Claim
All six baggage claim carousels at this airport in the United Arab Emirates are equipped with digital kiosks, Custom Created by OTO with 65" screens of Samsung, supplied by Vithran and made up of Leisung Technologies.
Regarded as one of the fastest growing airport facilities in the Middle East, the Sharjah Airport, located in this city declared by the UNESCO as the cultural capital of the Arab world, welcomed nearly sixteen million passengers last year.
With this growing influx in its facilities, its managers have completed a project of Digital signage in the baggage claim area, composed of six tapes, to improve the traveller's experience and show advertisements for the city's cultural and leisure offerings.
The client's requirements for this area of the airport were clear: install Double-sided digital kiosks, equipped with a 65" screen, that they could tilt at an angle of 17º to offer the best viewing to passengers.
To offer this customized solution, The airport managers contacted the local distributor Vithran What, in collaboration with the integrator Leisung Technologies, have provided and installed six custom-made double-sided digital kiosks by OTO, Equipping Screens Model of 65 Samsung QM65B inches.

specifically, The screens of these digital kiosks will offer "a potential dwell time for the viewer of 15 to 30 seconds for each ad, delivering fruitful reach and impact".
