Matrox Video DSX LE6 100GbE

DSX LE5 D25 LP and DSX LE6 100GbE Join Network Interface Controller Card Range (NIC) of Matrox Video to improve IP workflows in the Pro AV and broadcast industries.

NICs from Matrox Video DSX LE5 and XMIO5 ST 2110 are now complemented by low-density models DSX LE5 D25 LP and DSX LE6 100GbE for Respond to the growing demand for IP workflows in professional audiovisual and broadcasting environments, with a cost-effective solution.

By offering Multi-channel video inputs and outputs over 10/25/100GbE networks, together with the SDK Matrox DSX, These new company NICs allow equipment manufacturers to design any type of IP-based application, from low-density HD/3G/4K and 8K workflows, at the right price within an SDK.

"Matrox Video's commitment to the SMPTE ST standard 2110 it is unquestionable," he says Francesco Scartozzi, Vp. Sales & Business Development, Broadcast & media at Matrox Video-. By introducing both ST NICs 2110 "We are targeting many broadcast and Pro AV applications and productions.".

The new ST cards 2110 use the same DSX SDK as the popular DSX LE5 and XMIO5 D25/Q25, providing full support with minimal engineering effort and resources. "Thanks to SDK management, Developers handle video buffers, audio and ancillary data just as they would with an SDI application", Scartozzi points out.

Designed as ST NICs 2110 video-compatible commercials, These new models bring the Interoperability and reliability 24/7 necessary for professional broadcast and audiovisual equipment, while offering the Flexibility and scalability expected from IP infrastructures.

Like the STs 2110 existing Matrox Video product portfolio, new cards feature hardware-based PTP for ST accuracy 2059-2 nanoseconds. An ultra-low latency feature (ULL) minimizes input and output for HD multi-channel applications, 4K and 8K.

New entry-level DSX LE5 D25 LP cards enable compact 1U COTS systems, 2U and 3U support low-density 1,080i/1,080p/UHD workflows through one interface 10/25 Gbe. One card supports four reconfigurable HD/3G or one 4K/UHD I/O, and the other simultaneously supports four HD/3G or one 4K/UHD I/O.

The DSX LE6 D100 PCIex8 Gen4, with dual interfaces 100 Gbe, is designed for high-performance media environments, including virtual broadcast and production, supports 4K and 8K ST I/O 2110 and easily handles eight p60/50 4K/UHD I/O, with seamless ST protection switching 2022-7.

With a Common Unified Architecture to all H.264 codec cards, E7S SDI and NIC ST 2110 by Matrox, Matrox DSX SDK Supports Key Features, How to read/write files, Memory management and handling of a wide range of file formats and effects to facilitate agile development.

There's also a prototyping tool to facilitate rapid simulation and testing of use cases without the need to write code. Matrox DSX LE5 D25 LP cards will be available in this third quarter, and the DSX LE6 D100 during the fourth quarter of 2024.
