Elation Pulse Panel and Pulse Panel FX

In order to achieve more visually dynamic and impactful effects, Elation has presented Press Panel and Press Panel FX. Luminaires that have strobe light and incorporate RGB and cold white LEDs controllable by area.

Elation has fused the power of strobe with design creativity in the new Pulse series and announced the availability of two versatile effects from the line.: Press Panel and Press Panel FX.

They offer multifunctionality as a powerful Strobe, A bright blinding light, A high-performance wash light or a creative eye-catching effect in one.

Ideal for concerts, Discos and theatrical shows, or any event that requires electrifying images, Pulse Panel and Pulse Panel FX infuse any performance with eye-catching moments of intense white light or color. Both luminaires incorporate Led RGB and Cold White controllable by zone, 1.152 RGB LED 1,5 W that lay the foundation with 288 5W cool white LED in the center and 96 RGB LED 1,5 W at its core. Some 144 Cold white LED 5 W align on the perimeter. When combined, production reaches 100.000 Lumens.

“We saw what existed in the market with the Tilting Strobe Light and we knew we wanted to create a more visually dynamic effect, with the greatest impact”, comments Bob Mentele, Elation Associate Product Manager. "We added the CW LEDs on the outer edges to offer more output and visual impact and then covered them with a custom linear prismatic lens that we had developed for our luminaires Proteus Rayzor Blade. To further expand your capabilities, we include a single line of RGB Led right in the center to add extra color to the device, or can be configured to reflect the central CW strobe LEDs".

Crafting Effects

Whether it's adding rhythmic flashes that sync with the music or creating special effects for a more visually stimulating experience, customizable zone control of RGB and CW LEDs opens up endless design possibilities. Both devices also include a library of customizable RGB and CW strobe effects along with variable dimming modes and curves for quick programming.

“We spent a lot of time thinking about the device's built-in effects and how to make it easier for programmers to control or save time creating effects”, says Mentele. "The effects library has been created to allow the user to control numerous parameters of the output being created. Speed, The Address, the color and size of the effect can be adjusted as desired".

One of the most notable features of the Pulse Panel FX is its ability to rotate its Led panel in an infinite 360° rotation, while the 180° tilt adds an extra layer of dynamism. This provides not only the ability to spin the LEDs endlessly, but also to create shifts of inclined angles and waves along a line of panels, expanding the visual impact and creativity that a designer can achieve.

Creative Control

Controlled through the DMX protocols, RDM, Art-Net, SACN and KlingNet, Both devices also feature proprietary wireless equipment management Aria x2 for simplified system setup and maintenance.

Pulse Panel FX allows the use of two separate universes to control the device, one for motion and one for LED control from a media server or standalone content control device.

Both devices have the IP65 protection, A standard of durability that doesn't just protect them from the weather and harsh environments, but it also serves to protect internal components and electronics from dust and debris that can wreak havoc on devices.

The Pulse Panel housing includes an interlocking mechanism that allows the unit to be hung vertically or horizontally from other Pulse Panel accessories or SŌL Blinder frame assemblies. The unit also integrates an overhead line rail at the top and bottom, and the housing can accept diffusion filters, ND filters and other optional optics.

Coming soon to the Pulse series will be linear Pulse Bar visual and strobe effects that feature the same RGB and CW LEDs for a perfect combination, and they also feature the same effects engine and control capabilities. The Pulse Bars also include the same interlocking mechanism as the Pulse Panel, so the bars can be locked together end-to-end or connected to the Pulse panel.
