KV2 brings its technology to two of London's tallest restaurants

The Sushisamba and Duck and Waffle have opted for the ESD series speakers from KV2 Audio for your establishments. Specifically, they have 13 ESD5, six ESD1.12, six ESD10, two ESD1.15, six ESD8 and 12 ESDCube.

Overlooking the London skyline, Sushisamba It's an opulent restaurant that takes diners on a culinary journey. Located on the top three floors of the Heron Tower, the second tallest building in the capital's financial district, It offers panoramic views of the city through large floor-to-ceiling windows. A complete sensory experience that has been carried out with the help of Cosmic Electronics, who has used an audio system made up of the KV2 Dynamic ESD Speakers.

“Sushisamba has been a customer of ours for a few years and is a magical place”, Begins Mark Damon, CEO of Cosmic Electronics. "They wanted a system that would not take away from the splendor of the restaurant. It had to integrate with the environment and, at the same time, to have an incredible and uniform sound on all floors".

This restaurant consists of a main dining room and additional floor spaces 38 and 39. The main salon is where guests can enjoy a fusion of Japanese cuisine, Brazilian and Peruvian from breakfast to dinner, with custom cocktails at three separate bars. The Apartment 38 is the largest space within Sushisamba, with a double-height roof and two outdoor terraces. It also has a sushi bar and a grill. The bar and lounge of the apartment 39 are located on a mezzanine floor overlooking the dining room. This private space is known for its exclusive parties and VIP dinners.

If you go higher into the clouds, diners will discover Duck and Waffle on the floor 40, a restaurant open the 24 hours that focuses on British and European cuisine. Famous for its luxury brunches and custom cocktails, Its ambience demanded an audio system that lived up to its sophistication.

To meet this need, Cosmic Electronics installed a selection of KV2 ESD models, including four ESD5, eight ESD Cube and four ESD1.12. "They wanted a uniform sound throughout the space, but each floor had unique requirements", Damon explains.

"We were playing background music in the bars and restaurants or catering for a busy DJ event on the VIP floor. Aesthetics were a top priority, so we opted for the ESD series, in particular the ESD5. These compact speakers pack a punch and deliver great sound despite their small size. For the main dining room, we install ESD10. Usually, For a room of this size we would specify subwoofers, but the place didn't want to lose this valuable floor space.".

As well as delivering great sound to Duck and Waffle, ESD5 has been installed in various spaces, Included in-floor sushi bar 38 and the bar, The living room and the entrance in the apartment 39.

In the larger areas of the restaurant, Cosmic Electronics selected six KV2 ESD8, six ESD10 and two ESD1.15 for powerful, immersive sound.
