The Gridiron opens its doors at the River Spirit with Martin Audio

In this establishment, an installation was carried out based on the solutions of Martin Audio, that integrates 40 C8.1T full-range ceiling speakers 8 inches and 16 SX110 subwoofers, Hidden in the ceiling. Two FlexPoint FP15 were mounted in the locker room, powered by Dante-compatible iKON and Linear Research DSP multichannel amplifiers.

The River Spirit Casino in Tulsa (Oklahoma) is an entertainment destination that offers a wide range of games, Restaurants and live shows. Among its attractions is the Gridiron, The largest sports bar in the state that offers a great visual experience as well as acoustics, thanks to the teams at Martin Audio.

Based in Ireland and London, Audiotek, Audiovisual design specialists, learned about the project thanks to the construction company and manufacturer i5 Design, and was responsible for the design and installation of a new and advanced audio and video system (IPTV). This space includes two TopGolf golf simulators, the Locker Room and the VIP.

The system had to support a variety of content, from live sports broadcasts to special events, with consistently reliable, high-quality audio and video. AV over IP services needed to be integrated with existing network infrastructure.

Led by the project manager Chris Kmiec, in collaboration with your design colleagues Ash Attwood and Darren Pavitt, this was the second casino project in which Audiotek participated in the world of Native American gambling, having recently completed a similar installation at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Wisconsin. Just like in that project, subcontracted to CCCP, Martin Audio U.S. Partner, to help them with integration.

Audio design was again crucial, as managing sound levels in a busy and dynamic sports bar environment posed challenges to minimize echo and maintain speech intelligibility.

However, Audiotek was able to meet all sound reinforcement requirements with Martin Audio's product portfolio. Their solution was to install 40 C8.1T full-range ceiling speakers of 8 inches and 16 SX110 subwoofers of the same brand, Hidden in the ceiling, to distribute sound evenly and intelligibly over different areas of the large space.

In the locker room — a private space to eat and meet, two Martin Audio speakers FlexPoint FP15, located to the left and right of the video screen, powered by a combination of Dante-compatible iKON and Linear Research DSP multi-channel amplifiers, they operate with a Dante backbone processed and controlled by the Q-SYS.
