Voice-Acoustic stars in the reopening of Big Ben Discoteca

The new sound system in the main hall of this legendary Catalan nightclub is based on the Pro Audio speakers from Voice-Acoustic, installed by Vtècnics, your exclusive distributor in Spain.

Opened in 1976 in the town of Golmés in Lleida (Catalonia), Big Ben Nightclub was a magnet for international and Spanish stars of the music in the decade of 1980 and one of the largest and most famous in Europe.

The one known as Big Ben generation, turned this space into a Cultural meeting point that went beyond the city limits. However, with the change in club culture in the early 1970s, 2000, This legendary venue lost its appeal and had to close its doors in 2015.

After extensive works of Renovation and modernization, during which new room concepts were implemented, An event room, exclusive VIP areas and Lighting and sound technology state-of-the-art, the Big nightclub celebrated its reopening at the end of last year.

This reopening, after nine years of closure, has been an important turning point for nightlife in the regions of Lleida. More than 5.000 people celebrated a historic night, with a first-class show in which the quality of the new sound system played a fundamental role.

Audiovisual professionals Francesc Güell and Narcís Solé have been in charge of the Sound and acoustic design of the room, ensuring balanced sound reproduction and optimal performance during DJ sets and live concerts.
